Automotive dual-mass flywheel is a mechanical device that provides continuous energy to the system. Double-named mass means dividing the mass of the device into two parts, half of which are mounted on the engine and the other half on the gearbox. The device is located between the engine and the gearbox along the clutch cover above the clutch disc. By accumulating stored energy in the two flywheel half-masses, vibration can be reduced. It can effectively isolate the torsional vibration of the crankshaft of the engine, which is beneficial to improving the performance of the automobile.
